@healing.out.loud4: They shouldn’t be around and I’m in a space right now where I wonder when I should be talking to my kids about this kind of behavior I have 2 daughters and I think, shouldn’t I be talking to them about what a healthy and toxic behavior looks like. I wonder when they grow up are they going to end up with someone just like their dad? Is it going to be my fault for not showing them earlier what is acceptable behavior. At this point they hear her father yell at me, devalue me, call me names, but my eldest daughter is only 10. If she’s hearing this, is this that time I start to talk to her? I find myself wanting to protect her father and blame myself. Help me, what do I do?
