Chronically Not Okay :
My parents look at me like I'm crazy when I talk things through with my kids or apologize to them when I'm wrong. I never want them to go to their rooms and cry into their pillows, trying to keep from yelling that they hate me. I need them to know I'm their mom but I'm also human. I can be wrong. I can be messed up but it will never be on purpose because I love them more than that.

💯 The hard part is finding out that breaking generational trauma or cycles is very lonely. You loose a big part of your understanding of family. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!!
