except every single time we are given an opportunity to say 'his actions were bad' it is shut down immediately and followed by him having a menty b. during the button or during the gun episode multiple different times. if we were ever left to sit with Jax's actions being bad instead of them being immediately excused or forgiven we would be having a different conversation. however we are given victims of him who are not allowed to feel upset or angry with him naritively and no screentime afforded to that bar once with gangle and zooble where zooble says shes scared to say no to him. if he showed remorse or growth or even them collectively being mad at him i think he could be a good character but instead we have pomni fulfilling a 'i can fix him' role and jax who is a main character for, at time of comment at least, no real reason. ultimately you allowed to hate an abusive character for being abusive especially if the other characters (and creator but whatever) are defending him and trying to let him be apart of the group without any growth.
