It’s a nice idea, but it wipes out all your pre saved settings. Like radio stations, seat memory etc! I use an automatic one that turns the battery off itself if the voltage drops below 11.5 volts. This switch here is great for any car or truck that sits most of the time where you don’t rely on presets within the car.

if you use a battery disconnect if will effect your cars computer.if you have to do a vehicle inspection you will need to drive 200-300 miles to reset the computer and pass the inspection

these are good if you use them once in a while like when you go on vacation or something but you can't turn your car off everyday like that if it's a modern car there's so many things that would get reset it would drive you nuts

With most cars of today they reset systems that need to be recalibrate every time who has time for that. it's 60 % off because it's bullshiit for a car great for motorcycle lawn mower or boat though
