Hi! Recent PLE passer here. I just want to be real with you—hindi talaga madali ang maging doktor. Ang daming sacrifices, pagod, puyat, at moments na parang gusto mo na lang sumuko. I had to find ways to support myself too while chasing this dream, so I really understand where you’re coming from. I salute everyone na nangangarap maging doktor. 🤍 I’m already a doctor, pero to be honest, may mga times pa rin na napapaisip ako ng “what ifs.” That’s part of the journey. Totoo, ang sarap pakinggan ng “Doc,” but the process? You really have to think about it 10x. Hindi siya biro—emotionally, physically, and financially draining siya. Not to discourage everyone ha, but to help you guys see the full picture. Halos mabaon kami sa utang just for me to finish med school. Kung gusto mo talaga siya—go for it, all in. Kung may will, may way. Hindi man diretso ang path, makakahanap ka rin ng paraan. Pero if ang main reason is money, I’ll be honest—maraming ibang ways to earn na mas mabilis at less taxing. At the end of the day, if this is truly your dream, don’t let your current situation define your future. Pwedeng mabagal, pwedeng mahirap—but it’s still possible. Laban lang. 🤍

i’ve dreamed becoming a doctor ever since grade 4 up till now that i am soon entering college— unfortunately, i couldn’t pursue my dream, being a surgeon, specifically cardiologist because we don’t have enough money:(( but i’m still pursuing med! but this time, it’s nursing, just to fulfill my longing of becoming a doctor, i chose being the assistant one— right hand of the doctors.:((🙁💔

WAHAHAHA multo ko talaga to, friends push me to take NMAT kasi kaya ko daw. One even said na sa out of all us, fitting daw talaga ako for med school. But yeah... next life na lang, mas afford pa masteral degree eh

I have dreamed of becoming a doctor since I was a child. But life happened and my journey had to take alot of detour so that me and my family survives. Finally entered MedSchool at 33, but oh boy why is this path so hard. If only I have started when I was younger, I would have been sharper and have more stamina.

I am currently a Student Nurse and my dream of becoming a doctor was gone. there’s a lot of what if’s— what if calling ko talaga Nurse, what if mag Med ako, magiging magaling kaya akong doctor. So many if’s— I hope everyone will get to see their future!! Padayon!!

Pinaka malaking “multo” ko—yung pangarap kong maging doktor. Ni hindi ko nga natapos ang premed ko, paano pa kaya makarating sa “Doc”? Nandito naman yung determination, buo pa rin… pero ang hirap kapag pera na ang kalaban. Minsan hindi kakulangan ng pangarap—kundi kakulangan ng pagkakataon. 😭

simula bata ako surgeon talaga ang gusto kong kunin, kaso hindi afford dahil sobrang mahal.🥹 wala sa choices ko ang pagiging engineering, pero yun yung path na tatahakin ko now, kasi yun lang naman yun lang din yung alam kong afford. sinabi ko rin sakanila na kung hindi ako mag s-surgeon ay hindi ko papasukin ang mundo ng med😞
