in a more advanced sense, 1/0 is undefined in any domain because any x must satisfy 0×(1/0)×x = x which would be impossible since by the zero product property x must be 0 so division by 0 is impossible in any non-trivial domain

We usually use 1/0 = inf when X (denominator) is only defined in the right side, it is usually useful in physics and mathematics
