@rangeofstrength: I was first exposed to Westside methods in the early 2000s. One thing that stuck with me over the years, even when I wasn’t powerlifting specifically, was their approach to accessory work. Before that, training kind of felt like the main lifts were the event and then whatever came after was just extra work to finish the session. Westside flipped that for me. Accessory work wasn’t just about getting a pump or filling time after the main lifts. It was about continuing to build strength in the places that actually limit those lifts. Weak triceps, upper back, lockout strength. Positions where things break down. Work doesn’t stop after the main lifts, its just getting started. That mindset of pushing accessory work hard like it mattered just as much as the main lifts, stuck with me and these three upper body ones still stand out. #fyp #westsidebarbell #shoulders #mobility
