Hi my friend, I’m an Egyptian tour guide, and my advice is that when visiting a place like the Giza Pyramids, it’s always better to go with a tour guide. A guide can help you avoid all the issues you experienced without you even having to speak. Secondly, the entrance you used is an old entrance and is most likely intended mainly for Egyptians. The Egyptian government has created a new entrance called the Great Gate. There, nobody will bother you at all. There is proper control, organization, and staff available to assist visitors efficiently and professionally. You can even start your visit from the Great Gate without a guide if you prefer, because there is information available about all the pyramids and even the Solar Boats, which are now displayed at the Grand Egyptian Museum. However, I still recommend having a guide with you so you can get a complete explanation of the entire area and its history. In any case, I would like to apologize on behalf of Egyptians for what happened to you, and I hope to see you in Egypt again someday. ❤️🇪🇬

I went with guide and they took care of everything, cost me 3k for the whole package because my family is a group of 9. So they were happy with my 27k. They even threw in free water. Very pleasing trip🥰
