if it wanted to better battery life and mitigate the damage, it would stop charging at 80%. to maintain ideal battery life, keep phone between 20% and 80%

Imagine you need to charge your phone because you have a work trip so you left your phone charging at your house while you went to go prepare and then finish preparing you. Come back home. You have barely any battery and you needed your phone for the presentation and you can’t charge cause you’re already gonna be late so that’s why you shouldn’t buy it
