My partner and I were looking for movers about a year back, and it was a bit last minute, so we checked facebook. this guy had all 5 stars, except for 1. I told him to check that review. turns out, he was racist asf. all those 5 stars were from white individuals, and the 1 star was from either a Hispanic individual or a black individual. We messaged the person that left that 1 star, (we made it very clear that if we overstepped any boundaries or if they weren't okay with telling us, we'd still pick other movers, but respect their decision.) I don't remember exactly what they said, but they did say he used a couple slurs and was very rude over them being a bit darker. My partner and I left 1 star reviews stating their blatant racism, as well. Fck racists and their businesses.

I've lowkey started thinking "freedom" should come without consequences. You're not "free" to say whatever you want, when certain words or concepts come with consequences if spoken about. In my view we just don't have freedom of speech, but that isn't a bad thing bc you SHOULDN'T be "free" to insult people on deep, personal levels.
