@globalsouthworld: One tropical fruit became part of a political message as global tensions continue to rise. Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva joked about gifting a jaboticaba tree to Donald Trump, saying it could help “calm him down.” Speaking during a visit to an agricultural research centre, Lula used the moment to highlight Brazil’s produce while referencing ongoing tensions linked to the United States, Israel and Iran. He also mentioned plans to share the tree with China’s Xi Jinping. #Brazil #Lula #Trump #US #Geopolitics
