ONLY use Mass Airflow Sensor cleaner... do not scrub the sensor with anything... just spray it to clean.

DO NOT WIPE THE SENSOR!! Just spray it with the Mass Airflow Sensor Cleaner, and let it air dry for 5 minutes. The sensor is just a thin wire, wiping it can break the wire.

don't forget to accidentally reset your vehicles computer after doing this also so it can recalibrate

use electrical or MAF cleaner not detergent. It has delocate sensor. detergwnt will damage ir.

Make sure to clean it with a cleaner specifically made for Cleaning the mass airflow sensor. Things like brake clean gasoline other solvent will actually damage it and that’s a part that can be worth several hundred dollars just for that sensor. Be very careful when you clean some of these parts.
