@bhmc_110: April is distracted driving awareness month. The facts are clear and the outcome of these accidents are tragic yet very preventable. Pull over or plan ahead, but #putthephonedown while you’re driving. The most common excuse (given) for holding and operating a cell phone while driving is using it for directions or maps. A mount, properly placed, and even the manufacturer installed GPS system inside the car (if installed), really helps with this. Many of them are super fancy and can be activated hands free. Take the small amount of time to learn your car. It’s worth it.
