@bodycamcrazymoments: Street racers in New Mexico crash their car and it errupts into flames. A white sedan and a red Toyota Supra were spotted racing by a patrol officer. When the officer attempted a traffic stop, the white sedan fled, while the Supra initially slowed. As the white sedan sped away, it clipped another motorist near a Smith’s grocery store, lost control, and flipped multiple times before slamming into a parked vehicle and exploding into a fireball. The 22-year-old female driver of the Supra, Kalynn Kenworthy, was seen in the video visibly distraught and running toward the fire to help her friends. The 27-year-old driver of the white sedan managed to crawl out of the burning wreckage on his own. However, the passenger, identified as Cole Medina, was trapped inside as the car was engulfed. Officer Mead and other arriving officers rushed into the flames, pulling Medina out just as his clothing began to catch fire. Despite Kalynn's attempt to assist, she was arrested by Sergeant Martinez because she had been actively participating in the race that led to the crash. Investigations later revealed she had a history of traffic violations, including prior citations for racing in 2023 and August 2025. Reese Berthold Driver of the White Sedan 27 3rd-degree Great Bodily Injury by Vehicle (DUI), 4th-degree Aggravated Fleeing, Racing on Highways, and driving without headlights. Both the driver and passenger of the white sedan survived, though they sustained significant burns and injuries. The Farmington Police Chief, Steve Hebbe, noted that street racing has been a "20-year problem" in the city and released this footage as a stark warning to the community.
