I have never been convinced that tithing should be mandatory. Recently my pastor asked me if i pay my tithe and I didnt respond. Frankly, i believe i should contribute freely to church growth but i cant go out of the congregation to show I pay tithe

I genuinely respect the work you do, there’s a major disconnect in how Christianity is often taught. Many believers aren’t really guided into building a personal relationship with God. Instead, what we often receive from the pulpit feels like just enough to keep us coming back every Sunday without actually equipping us to grow daily on our own. Some people may disagree, but think about it if cultivating a personal relationship with Christ was emphasized with the same intensity and even the same sense of urgency as things like tithing and offerings, people would feel just as convicted about going through an entire week without intentionally connecting with God. The truth is, consistent spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident it requires conscious effort, discipline, and personal pursuit beyond church gatherings. And to be honest, I believe many leaders are aware of this gap. The real question is whether we’re ready to shift the focus from dependency on the system to genuine intimacy with Christ.

Actually the Bible said to pay tithe for every increase, every increase , now the tithe is ment for the Priest and from revelation ch 5 vs 10, we all are to partake of it and please we are not in the law , we are in grace , I think you too need to study about that , but for the tithe according to acts , the tithe is meant for we all
