@gunter_doxie: #gifted TRUE STORY: When we first rescued our wiener dog Gunter, he was going to the vet every couple of weeks. He was always scooting his butt across the floor and he would break out in hives and at one point he scratched himself bald and was bleeding 😭 Every single time we went to the vet, they would always ask us what we were feeding him and it suddenly dawned on me that I should probably look at what my dog was eating (the vet made no recommendations besides pumpkin and Benadryl). As a first time dog mom, I dove deep into the internet and found all kinds of solutions but then felt shame because it’s so expensive to feed your dog a raw diet. Then I found @platopettreats and realized I could give my dog single ingredient treats and still improve his quality of life. They’re literally just one ingredient and they’re air dried so it’s probably the closest thing to a raw fish your dog can get. These treats are so good, we’ve used them to distract our reactive wiener dog from other dogs (with dog training of course!) and I also give these to other dogs at the dog park to distract other dogs from Gunter! I always always ask if it’s ok to give a treat and when I mention it’s just fish, they’re always curious and ask about them.
