if you’re selling that for £9.99 then you are cutting corners. do a breakdown of what it cost you with the cost of goods and running the Shop and And your VAT and corporation tax and utility bills rent and business rates you’re losing money. and don’t forget labour

Small restaurant can’t legally make money selling that plate for £8.99, I’ve been in this game myself and I know. If he does turn a profit then it’s either absolutely tiny (not worthy of being in business) or he is cooking his books.
