@apeachhouse: Up close look at my new granite countertops. I chose this stone because I really valued and wanted a natural real stone cut straight from the earth. Unlike white quartz granite can handle the heat and you can set hot pans on it without melting it because it’s a rock and not a resin composite. I’m aware granite is not the typical asthetic choice. It’s the real natural stone choice in my budget for people who want a piece of the earth in their kitchen. Granite is not typically the choice of influencers who often go with a white quartz or as some of you are calling ‘fake white marble’.
