@lappstructures: This 10' x 16' Garden Quaker is a great example of how a few specific architectural changes can completely shift the look of a building. If you aren't familiar with the Quaker style, it’s defined by that distinct offset roofline. It features a 6/12 pitch in the front and a steeper 7/12 in the back. Combined with a deep 18-inch front overhang, it creates a unique profile that has a lot more character than your standard backyard shed. The aesthetics on this one really pop. We finished it in Evening Blue LP Shake siding with crisp white MiraTec trim for a bold, clean contrast. To lean into that garden look, we added rustic cedar stained wood double doors and matching flower boxes tucked under the inset aluminum windows. The transom windows in the doors are a nice touch, too, bringing in extra light while keeping that classic, high-end feel. It’s the kind of structure that doesn’t just store your equipment—it actually adds something to the landscape.
