GRRM has a way to make you feel pity for the characters you despise for their actions. I felt so conflicted with Alicent’s death which reminded me with how I felt about Cersei’s walk of atonement and Theon’s situation with Ramsey. Obviously the main series was a harder blow especially with Cersei considering the nature of the walk of atonement (misogyny and she wasn’t even punished for her actual crimes, and Cersei is much more developed as a character than f&b characters)

alicent’s final moments make me feel both avenged for what she did but they also make me feel some level of pity for her. she’s so complex as a villain.

due to Aemond (also killed a messenger) and Aegon and Daemon being kinslayers, which are hated by Gods, thus i think they wouldnt go to heaven, but the closest characters we have that would go to heaven are Rhaenyra, Jacaerys, Lucerys and Joffrey, Jacaerys was Good all his life and died saving his brothers, Lucerys was a child who died trying to fight for his mother and died as a messenger, Joffrey Died repeating “forgive me mother” and he died with a maid embracing him, Rhaenyra is heavily implied as she lost her children due to tragedy, got dragged into a war she didn’t start and the text that glydayn (and behind that grrm) put for her heaveily implies she went to heaven
