what is arc fitting? I've never used it or heard of it? would you recommend the x2D over the P2S? The heated chamber, filtered exhaust and noise cancellation has to be worth the extra 100 even if you never use the second nozzle correct?

I have the x2d and p1s. by doing the same multi color prints on both. I saved 1 hr time and saved wasted filament on x2d compared to p1s. I do select quality print option when slicing with X2D it is faster than other 2 options. X2D is way faster in my opinion and according to my comparison.

How is your AMS Pro working with your X2D? I keep having issues with the refill on it. Works great to I get about 6-7 changes then it doesn’t pull filament anymore. (I have to help it. Feels like it’s hitting something in there. That’s on all spools.

There is likely two reasons for it to be slower than the p two s and both are very valid reasons. First, is that the gantry is heavier because it has to support 2. Nozzles heavier means slower. It's the same reason why the h2d is slightly slower than the h2s. the second reason is the linear rails and belts. As far as I know, they use higher quality rails and belts on the x two d.While that means that they can move better, you still run into that initial problem of heavier gantry

Do a side by side print comparison. One with arc fitting enabled and one with it disabled so the machine does the curve planning. All other settings the same. I wonder if there’s actually a quality difference.

The specs tell you the speed is slower except for the travel speed I believe

this makes 0 sense arc fitting still happens on an x2d just with the vision encoder it maybe slower but it's likely something else
