It’s always the valve guide it seems. Yamaha’s are even worse.

man I couldn't fix a sousaphone button and I did change the valve guide but it didn't work and a I clean the valve hole and still didn't work so I told my band teacher that It was most likely the spring yet I have been able to fix like 4 other sousaphones with the same issue and btw im a student so any tips?

My tuba has recently been “fixed” for the valve being stuck however it is still hard to take the valve out of the casing, do you know what the problem is may be?
