I’m so scared this will happen to me. My doctors don’t take me seriously at all. I had two transient ischemic attacks that I was hospitalized for within a year, a family history of lupus and other autoimmune diseases, and a positive ANA… but they all say I’m “overweight and anxious” 🥲

Please. Medical professionals don’t know any more than we do so I don’t blame anyone for trying to help themselves. I’ve been taking my son to specialists for 2 yrs and they have no idea what’s wrong with him. Yeah we’re going to try to help him ourselves because it’s better than nothing.

Me with post viral dysautonomia in the ER with a HR at rest of 140 while literally simply sitting on the gurney an the nurse told me to stop looking at the monitor bc I was making my hr go up. I ended up getting admitted x3 days.

My daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2024. She was 9 at the time. The amount of people who told me how terrible chemo was and I should look into alternative therapies was insane. Though tbf, the chemo is horrifying.

I’ve had 4 PE’s while on anticoagulants and no one can figure it out. I have every symptom of lupus and was diagnosed with it formally over 23 years ago and my last ANA was negative so now my rheumatologist doesn’t exist. I’m petrified

It’s been years trying to get a diagnosis. My body is going wild now post kidney stone removal and finally getting another autoimmune workup that I’ve requested 3 times prior and was turned down because they didn’t think there would be any changes since it was positive before. I’m hoping something shows up
