I recently bought a computer. the delivery was through UPS and because of the item weight/cost/whatever a signature was needed. I knew this and arranged my day where I would be home for the entirety of the delivery window. UPS never showed up and 15 minutes after the delivery window opened they sent the "attempted delivery" notification. I was home, awake, and watching for the package from 5am to noon-when I got the notification- to 2pm. I followed the directions to reschedule the delivery and arranged my life again to wait for this package. This time I was literally sitting in my kitchen waiting. a UPS truck pulls up, backs out of my driveway, leaves, ding ding "attempted delivery" notification. the driver and I had locked eyes. the driver never got out of the truck or even came to a complete stop.

Would it be possible to in the future send packages with a tracking device so you can figure out where they actually go I know their automated tracking can be pretty inaccurate

@UPS what are you guys doing. I’ve had to literally chase drivers down for “failed deliveries” when I was home and they didn’t stop.

I don’t understand how @UPS can use the excuse that their stores are franchised yet your package was checked in at their shipping facility after it was picked up from the UPS store. One would think that once the package has been scanned at their warehouse facility it is now the companies responsibility and no longer tied to the store it was shipped from.
