Gastroparesis is one of my few ‘respected’ diagnoses, I cannot have misinformation discrediting this illness too. That one medication gave me foot drop and neuropathy and I was made to trial it multiple times or I would be documented as non compliant to deny future care. I volunteered for an experimental procedure which failed and resulted in more surgeries and failures. There’s nothing left for me if I get any sicker, which I will. And this is the story of someone very lucky and privileged to be on disability with full insurance.

Makes me so sad to see so many people with gastroparesis with feeding tubes. I'm doing my best to stay off the tube. I lost over 40 lbs in the last two years but two months ago I finally found something that helped the nausea go away and finally start eating more and having regular bowel movements. don't give up there's hope.
