hey so i figured out the reason it makes it so hard to open depends on the way you put that black thing on the clear part of the cup sits, i know the tumblers have it but on the actual lid part that keeps it closed, there’s a black part that goes around it at the top so nothing leaks out, if you don’t put it on right it’s impossible to open the jug

I’ve had numerous hydro jugs and never had a issue opening them. All u gotta do is flip the straw use it as leverage. Not that hard 🙄
