Serie knew of Frieren’s potential, it’s just that Frieren, just like what Flamme said, is a mage born for a peaceful era. So Frieren just prefers to go to adventures to find some random magic spells rather than furnishing her full potential and that is why in Serie’s perspective, what Frieren is doing is just useless and waste of potential. Altho, Frieren is already so strong when we compare her to other mages but as an elf mage, she’s too weak.
