The comments are crazy negative. Camera malfunctions happen and there's no time on a wedding day to troubleshoot. This is a huge green flag if you're a bride.

Y'all don't understand how quickly a camera can just stop working out of nowhere. Legit have had 100k+ cameras just not turn on once getting to set after using it in prep for the entire week before, but we always have a secondary camera ready in case these things happen.

its not about the equipment, its about the price of the equipment. One camera (with a lense) cost atleast 3500-6000 brand new. now imagine 2 cameras, flashes, gas, sd cards, etc. not only are you paying for the photos, your paying to the guarantee that they’re actually good

The people saying that they have faulty equipment must have never worked a day in their life. Any equipment in any industry can fail, it’s about having backups and quickly finding a solution. I have had a camera fail during a wedding when filming it, the battery adapter shorted out randomly, I switched to a backup camera and when I had a moment I troubleshooted the issue and got the camera back up and working. Being a professional means being able to stay on your toes and roll with the punches.

I’ve done wedding photography and yes we carried three cameras. I once took a photo with my own phone just be safe 😂
