Does this work for vertical slide/tilt in Windows. The balance is really stiff & does not slide up/down the channel in the vinyl window.

What if they don’t open? My bedroom horizontal window is like glued shut now. I can’t even open it a crack anymore. I’m trying to find tricks to get it working again.
