My OB said folic acid is the most important thing to look for in a prenatal so I’m gonna stick to her advice.. but everyone’s experience is different

Why is everyone being weird about what she’s saying I’m pretty sure I understood this that folic acid is needed in a pregnancy but it’s harder to break down by the body. Specially because it’s synthetic. And there’s different forms of folic acid and the one that she’s pointing out in this video is just one that’s already broken down or easier to break down by the body. It’s still folic acid.? Am I wrong

I’m seeing so much conflicting info about folate. The Fertility Formula says Folic Acid is best and that there is no evidence that methylated is better or helps prevent neural tube defects.

Guys listened to YOUR OB not someone on TikTok! What may work for her may not work for you and folic acid is incredibly important for a growing baby! Let the professionals guide you 💗

People aren’t listening to what you saying. I have also heard that folic acid does sometimes lead to tongue ties. Methyl folate is the better version 🥰

Meanwhile the prenatals that say “folate” usually always says “folic acid” in parentheses anyway

Both folate and folic acid are forms of vitamin B9 that help prevent serious brain and spine birth defects, known as neural tube defects the only difference is folic acid is synthetic and folate acid is natural and found in foods so reality you can take either
