You cannot produce more anergy than what you expended from the power source used to extract hydrogen and oxygen from water. That’s why you will never see a water-powered anything. Because it doesn’t make sense.

Problem is to make hydrolysis burns more energy than you get by separating oxygen from hydrogen, if they could figure out a way to separate the 2 molecules without using electricity to do it. Say by a sound frequency, or by adding another chemical compound. Then we would have clean energy.

Using stainless for electrolysis isn't recommended as it reacts with the electrolyte during the process creating toxic chromium hazardous waste.

The reason he's having problems is because he's not cycling the fluid efficiently. it can't just be sitting there and needs to be flowing at a certain speed

So, on a Brief technicality, the calories you are quoting are the Food Calories which under the physical equations - if I remember right - are actually Killocalories (thousands of Physics Heat calories). It's been more than 10 years since I have worked with those equations, though.

Breaking the bond takes about the same as creating it... Nothing is free. Burning the gas, creates heat. Lot of that energy is lost. There can be no 100% conversion from one form to another. It comes down to whether you can get the work desired from the energy required.
