As a Mexican I gotta say both communities are very hypocrite. Mexicans cry when people are being racist to them and threatening them to call ICE but then they go and post stuff like this. As well as Black people, they fought for their rights and to be treated right but they also attack other minorities. All of those who agree with Ashley Gonzalez are just embarrassing and ignorant. I honestly find it confusing how racism is sometimes only talked about in one direction. I respect and care about Black people, but I think it’s important to acknowledge that prejudice can exist between all groups, including toward Hispanics and white people too. From my perspective, when some Hispanics use the n-word, it’s not meant as an insult but comes from a mindset of unity—but I understand that intention doesn’t always change how it’s received.

Wait please don’t use such generalizing language, I know that racism and colorism within the Hispanic community can be bad especially depending on the region, but there’s an equally large portion of us that advocate for poc in general. Saying you don’t care about the ice situation is incredibly disheartening especially considering it isn’t just us being impacted by it, it’s a national and humanitarian issue. Generalization like this isn’t healthy for any group, everyone has their own experiences and I know I personally have been racially victimized by AA’s in my region more than any other group, but that’s largely due to individual beliefs. I understand you probably don’t mean that this applies to all Latinos but the wording and contents of this video come off as extremely generalized ☹️I promise we aren’t all like this, I’m blessed to live an area where the majority of us aren’t like this at all, but it’s disheartening to hear someone speak on us and about ice like this. I mean this well, I hope it doesn’t come off as rude!
