@feedsby_b: Mince & Cheese Pies 🥧 Ingredients: - 1kg beef mince (from the butcher is better) - 1 onion - 3 garlic cloves - 2 tbsp tomato paste - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp garlic powder - 1 tsp onion powder - salt and pepper - 2 cups stock (beef is best but I only had chicken) - cornflour and water to thicken - puff pastry sheets - cheddar cheese - mozzarella cheese - egg, for brushing Method: - cook onion and garlic in a pan till browned - add mince in small batches, let brown before breaking it up - when all batches of mince and browned, add onion back to the pan with all other ingredients - cover and simmer for 30 mins until thickened, let mince cool - cut pastry slightly bigger than moulds, add mince, cheese and lid (this recipe made 4 big pies and 12 mini pies) - bake at 180°C for about 20 mins till golden #mince #cheese #pies
