@leahurst.equine: 🩺✨Back Pain in Horses✨🩺 Back pain is a complex condition to both diagnose and treat. At Leahurst Equine Hospital we utilize a holistic approach to horses with back pain. Diagnosing back pain is incredibly challenging but we have access to our scintigraphy machine, our high power gantry Xray machine and in some cases CT of the pelvis and lower spine. We offer surgery for kissing spines and have published a new technique for this surgery. We also offer a conservative approach consisting of deep muscle medications, targeted articular process medications, mesotherapy, acupuncture, shock wave and bespoke physiotherapy plans working in conjunction with physiotherapists.
