@sophia.at.home: ✨ Part 2 - Fireplace Transformation No.3 ✨ We are so happy with how this turned out. Like with the other fireplaces we’ve transformed this one evolved throughout the process. We found a huge piece of stone buried in the garden & despite it being in 2 sections decided it would make for a perfect hearth. The Mantle is Oak, made out of the wood above the Bay Window we removed from this room a few years ago. You will notice the same wood has been used above the panelling. The only real cost to us was the Bioethanol Fire which is the exact same one we have in our bedroom. Everything else is materials we already had & time, a lot of time. That’s it…..the last fireplace in those house.
