I think she just didn't expect to hit cait so hard because she wasnt used to how shimmer affected her body yet, not that she felt bad. She looked down cause she expected a fight, and her eyebrows raised in surprise when there wasnt a fight. Yall infantilize tf out of jinx just because she has trauma. She intentionally hurts people and finds some joy in it many times in the show. She has some serious negative feelings towards Cait at this point in the show. Literally in this same scene she asks Vi to kill Cait lol. Characters arent black and white
