Little tip, a sheet of damp paper towel underneath the chopping board (his and yours) will stop it from slipping when slicing. We have a similar set and the board hasn't got any grip on our worktops at all. I learned this trick when I was a chef and it's one thing that stuck with me.

The way his brain just LIT up when he realised he could cut them! Im a TA who works with SEN kiddos in EYFS and seeing everything connect and their eyes light up is so special ❤️

What an amazing parent you are! Defo include little ones...not only teaches life skills, but get a sense of confidence, and having time with there love ones. I done this with my kiddies, they loved it...and I loved when they got older they didn't wanna be on a screen they wanted to help. Great job mama!
