@lygaiva: I’ve lived in bodies ranging from 69kg to 120kg+. The smallest version of me was not the happiest version of me. At my leanest, I looked the way many people praise, but I felt the furthest from peace. More critical. More consumed. More disconnected from myself. People often assume confidence lives in a lower number on the scale. That healing begins once you shrink enough. My experience was the opposite. The confidence I have now was built through self-respect, strength, resilience, boundaries, and learning that my worth was never waiting at a goal weight. The mental peace I have now did not come from becoming smaller. It came from becoming freer. Some people only understand bodies by how they look. I understand mine by how it feels to live in it.
