keep little trash bags or like ya know the bags from stores in the bathroom. that way you can just dump the trash can!! i have done the same and i swear by this

we got a bucket next to the toilet, technically it's there because our water pressure is shit so our toilet doesn't like flushing on its own but I puke while on the toilet often enough that I fully plan to keep the bucket even after the water pressure is fixed.
