I think it speaks on how underfunded and how behind the health care for women really is. Ofc Pap smear is needed and really important but there should be more options for pain relief during those and specially doing biopsies

As someone who had family members who had cancer, yes I still rather have it than get a pap smear. I am NOT doing something that reminds me of trauma and feels so invalidating. From people I've asked about the experience, I still would deny. Call me selfish, but my opinion stands

If people dont want to get one then that is their choice, I refuse and always will 🤷♀️It is obviously important for everyone to have access to all the necessary information and options available to them so people can make an informed decision 🙂
