Someone pinch me, because I still can’t believe it.🥹 Yesterday we were sitting next to Jackie Jackson, listening to him share memories of the beautiful old days with all his brothers and his family. We met Jackie at the Palazzo dei Giureconsulti in Milan, where he was for Design Week with his amazing brand @hayvenhurst , and it was a great pleasure and a huge honor to meet such a wonderful man. We arrived around 11 a.m. hoping to meet him, take a photo, maybe get a hug. What happened next didn’t just exceed every expectation : it was pure magic. Jackie was incredibly kind, generous, loving and sweet, taking photos with us individually and as a group, always smiling. He signed autographs, and he seemed genuinely emotional himself. Then he personally asked us to stay and join the reception, offering us food and drinks and making us feel completely at home, as a big family. We spent so much time sitting next to him on one of his sofas, designed by @francesca_fagioli91, a beautiful and talented woman, and he was so open and generous in sharing stories about his family. We remembered Michael together, and all the while he kept thanking us for being there and for supporting him and his family. One of my favorite moments was showing him this fan page : he was genuinely interested, moved, and couldn’t stop laughing and smiling, like a child.🥲🫂 I want to thank Jackie for these unique, unforgettable moments, and all of his staff : Robert, Nick, Nicole, who were truly so kind to us.
