the difference is that with private universities you can just get in with a low aps so it's not all hooray, you just monied. public school you can get in however but public universities? not easy getting in🤚

People are so misinformed about private institutions it’s insane. Most students that end up taking on private institutions is due to lack of space at public institutions. The requirements to get in are similar to those at any public universities. Let’s educate ourselves before making baseless claims.

I’m in a private and I’m a 2nd year and what I can say is , it’s much better , more help , more resources, I don’t struggle with my modules , my lecture answers me in 10 minutes, it’s better to have one on one so I can archive better marks , I feel like public unis from what I’ve seen , is just hell 😭 80 other people , your lecture doesn’t even know your name or your ability , they js there reading slides and you go home and teach yourself , yah nor , private atleast they actually helping you with your journey of getting your degree

Everyone has a right to education, every year people protest because they cannot register, get accepted, or afford fees. So it is fair to ask why there is so much criticism when other institutions offer education, even if it costs more, to those who did not do well in high school. If the goal is to have an educated youth, then more access should be a good thing. These institutions are not taking anything away, they are giving people another chance. The negativity often comes from stigma and classism, where some forms of education are seen as less valuable than others. But in reality, education is still education. If more people are learning and improving their lives, then the goal is being met. The real problem is not these institutions, but a system that still leaves many people without affordable and accessible options.
