That’s not true. The bags that come off first are for priority travelers so if you have higher status on the airline, they tag your bag so that those bags get pushed out before others.

I've been a ramp agent for 30 years this complete bs! Bags are loaded in carts and randomly put on the carousel. There is no specific order even for priority bags.

I’ve had them take my bag at the gate cause there was no room in the overhead. It was one of the last bags to hit the carousel.

what airline? I've heard stories about some airliners putting specific colors at the very back of the cargo and besides priority or long term credit card mile flyers all the other bags are loaded randomly. they don't even start to load the plane until boarding begins anyway so idk how check in would change where your bag is in cargo

The last bags on are first off but first off are at the bottom of the bag trailer and end up on the belt later
