There's nothing wrong with the first one though. More advanced is with straight legs and bring feet up, perform in a way work obliques too. Doing crunches is an outdated exercise. Google the following and it will bring up amount of reps and sets : planks, side planks, dead bugs, bird-dogs, and Pallof presses
