fun fact: maddy’s character is based on alexa demie herself; after meeting sam levinson, he was left intrigued with her personality that he wrote maddy thinking about alexa. I forget where I got my exact source but, it’s a known fact!

I know it’s popular to hate on the show, but the complexity and the way you can discuss these characters like they are real people is a testament to the show’s writing and performances. Euphoria gets lost sometimes in story plotting, but the characterizations are fascinating

Another analysis is that might still not be over the fact that Cassie and Nate are still together. She looked a bit hurt to me more so from the fact that Cassie didn’t really care about her. And she wants Cassie to see that she’s not bothered by it at all and living her best life (hence why she waited in the car)

You could see this in the way she responded to her boss reprimanded her about her client. The old Maddie talked back to authority but she’s matured and has adapted to the corporate environment.

Yeesss I also think that Maddy has now since being grown and getting outta highschool with the field of work she’s with celebrities and influencers has open her eye to perception and how image is key but at that moment watching Cassie and Nate get married I feel she was just slightly more so vulnerable but I feel although it hurt it gave her closure for what she has in store for Cassie and Nate moving forward
