✨ THE SUNDAY BAKE 👩🏼‍🍳 Week 01: 💫 My Mum's No bake fudge 🍫 My Mum used to make this for us when we were growing up and it was always on the table at family functions. It is so quick and easy to make. She would package it up beautifully for Easter and Christmas gifts for all her friends This has become a tradition in our household too. I am yet to meet somebody who doesn't love this gorgeous treat. Mum used to add nuts and dried fruit to hers (instead of cherries) but over the years I adapted it for my husband (who loves cherries). I'm not a big lover of glace cherries but I love this fudge as it just adds a sweetness and texture to the fudge and tastes great, but you can add what you like! Get creative! 1 x packet digestive biscuits (or granitas in Oz) 1 × 200g tub red glacé cherries (don't knock it till you've tried it) 100g x butter 3/4 x can of condensed milk 2 x tablespoons cocoa powder 350g x melted chocolate Crush the biscuits in a food processor then add the cherries and give a good blitz until they are all mixed in together. Melt the butter in the microwave (or stove top) then whisk in your condensed milk and cocoa until smooth. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until it is all combined. Press mixture into a tin and smooth with a spatula. Pop it in the fridge until it has firmed up. Melt the chocolate and spread it over the cold fudge. Sometimes I drizzle melted white chocolate over the top of the milk chocolate too, and you can add any decorations you like. Let it set again in the fridge. Cut into small squares and enjoy! ✨ Save this for your next sweet treat! #familyrecipe #mumsrecipe #fudgerecipe #sweettreats #nobakerecipe
