In my experience, I got moved into limbo 4 times after discards and it never resulted in the exit being back into a meaningful relationship. I’m out of limbo now the only way I feel like it was ever going to go - the complete dissolution of the relationship.

Me and my partner were great at the start, but recently they’re spiralled into this really negative schema of thinking, I wanted to help but I’m afraid that I’ve come off too strong, since I kept telling him how much I love him or how wrong he is in what he thinks, I know this is not the best way to talk to an avoidant, but we agreed to talk on Monday about it, what can I do to approach them and help them believe that they do not need to leave, I’m willing to step back, but I’m scared he won’t end up reaching out
