The Prophet ﷺ didn’t just acknowledge this feeling — he predicted it. He said every deed has a surge of energy, and every surge is followed by a fatrah. He wasn’t warning you that something is wrong. He was telling you this is part of the journey. Ibn al-Qayyim described the heart as having states — expansion and contraction, nearness and distance. The contraction isn’t punishment. It’s preparation for the next opening.

just to let people know who are giving up on Allah please don't I beg you don't I made that mistake over and over again and I always failed when one day I was in a big mess no no way out I one day got up prayed out of no where and never looked back I kept praying and making duas cried in sujood with heavy heart trust me 2 years of struggle just got resolved wallahi allhumdulliah for everything so please don't give up just don't 🥹
