Isn't starting soil for seedlings supposed to be neutral? I mean it just need to sprout, there is no need to add nutrients since you are probably repotting in a more nutrient soil later

Ok question! How do you deal with moles and voles? Can’t use poison because of the garden and I’ve tried mole repellants like castor oil and other products but they just move their holes! I don’t want to use traps because we have a lot of toads, skinks, and lizards that use the holes for shelter and eat pest insects. Any advice?
