How do so many people "f up" two wires on a residential outlet.lol🤔 Decent handyman tracing tool though. Out of 1000+ outlets I've tested for inspection, I've found 2 that were wired wrong. They were both in an old, filthy rat infested hard to reach basement location. Probably by a past homeowner because any electrician would say pound dirt

It will always work! It’s alternating current!!!! Yes it’s hooked up backwards but anything you plug in to it will work!😩🥸

The receptacle would have still worked with reverse polarity. That's something that home inspectors find all the time when a homeowner replaced them himself. But they do still work.

yea that is safe no box to cover the back of the plug, super safe that you did not even notice or correct that safety problem

so dual throw braker, no solid core wire, and 120v contact that has no protection on an outlet thats mount directly to a metal table. yah I think I stick with Klein instead of temu.

ive used these for 6 years they work really well just make sure u make one full pass to learn the panel, yes its 50/50 if u do it on 1st pass on panel so deff make a learn pass then 2nd pass will pin point the breaker an double triple check power is off at the plug for safety
